  1. Thanks for that info and choosing the Apple Support Communities. It sounds like you want to use the Maps app in OS X Mavericks to plan a route and then send that to your iPhone for your journey. To be able to do this, you would need place pins in each of your 6 stops in the Maps app on your Mac and here is more info.
  2. Apple Maps in Mavericks is a simple and convenient application that is amazingly handy. The send to an iOS device feature is so handy and there is a lot more to outline in the video!
  3. Google maps and I dont seem to be able to work each other out. Or it could be the apple macbook pro trackpad and me. I have had my macbook pro now for 4 years and all this time i cannot really move and roam in the google maps as i would like to.

Is your Mac up to date with the latest version of the Mac operating system (macOS or OS X)? Is it using the version required by some other product that you want to use with your Mac? Which versions are earlier (older) or later (newer, more recent)? To find out, learn which version is installed now.

If your macOS isn't up to date, you may be able to update to a later version.

Which macOS version is installed?

From the Apple menu  in the corner of your screen, choose About This Mac. You should see the macOS name, such as macOS Mojave, followed by its version number. If you need to know the build number as well, click the version number to see it.

This example shows macOS Catalina version 10.15 build 19A583.

Which macOS version is the latest?

These are all Mac operating systems, starting with the most recent. When a major new macOS is released, it gets a new name, such as macOS Catalina. As updates that change the macOS version number become available, this article is updated to show the latest version of that macOS.

If your Mac is using an earlier version of any Mac operating system, you should install the latest Apple software updates, which can include important security updates and updates for the apps that are installed by macOS, such as Safari, Books, Messages, Mail, Music, Calendar, and Photos.
